Trip Itinerary
Day 01
As you land at Kathmandu Airport, a team from Pure Adventure Nepal will be there to pick you up and welcome you to Nepal. From Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be shifted to your hotel. Upon reaching there, you will check into your rooms and be ready for the welcome dinner at the hotel. The team will conduct a short introduction session and guide you on the expedition.

Day 02
This is the day when you will head towards the gateway to Everest, the Lukla region. With a 40-minute scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, you will be able to view the entire Himalayas from the window of the plane. Landing at Tenzing Hillary Airport, you will come to a quick rest.
Thereafter, you will head towards Phakding. Tracing your way along the Dudh Koshi River, you will pass several Mani walls, small settlements, and alpine forests. After a few hours of trekking, you will reach this vibrant village named Phakding, which is your destination for the day.

Day 03
After you collect yourself from Phakding, you will be heading towards Namche Bazar, the hub of Everest. Today, you will stretch out to reach Namche Bazar by crossing several suspension bridges along the scenic trail of the Everest area. Passing through some of the lively and stunning Sherpa settlements, like Bengar and Monjo village, you will enter the UNESCO heritage site, the Sagarmatha National Park.
With the final ascent to Namche, you will enter one of the most happening places in the Everest region. Namche Bazar has a bustling market and offers a view of the Everest and Lhotse mountains. You will be spending your night at a local teahouse in Namche Bazaar.

Day 04
This is your resting day before heading to the higher altitude of Lobuche Peak. It is essential to acclimatize yourself to the altitude to prevent altitude sickness. You can explore the Namche Bazar and the surrounding areas, including the museums, shops, and markets.
Alternatively, you can take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel to get a sight of Mt. Everest from a hotel at the highest altitude. After returning to Namche Bazar, immerse yourself in the traditional and delightful Sherpa cuisine in Namche Bazar and prepare for the trek tomorrow.
Day 05
After you have a fulfilling breakfast at Namche Bazar, you will gather yourself and head towards Phortse. This is a traditional yet picturesque village that offers splendid views of the Ama Dablam and Thamserku mountains. You will be rewarded with the glorious sights of the surrounding landscapes and eventually descend to Phortse. You will stay overnight here at Phortse.

Day 06
Waking up early in the morning, you will follow your trail to Dingboche. The trek will be through the lush trees of rhododendrons and conifers. As you trek for some time, you will gradually descend to reach the river bed of Imja Tse Lake. Thereafter, you will head up to reach Pangboche. You can explore the famous Pangboche Monastery. Dingboche lies near the riverbank of the Lobuche River.

Day 07
After such a tiring trek, a day of rest is well-deserved. And if it is in a beautiful village Dingboche, what more could one ask for? Today, you will be resting and relaxing in the village. However, to make this day a little more productive you can choose to hike to the Nagarjuna Peak. with a hike of 2 to 3 hours, you will step into the Nagarjuna Peak with a view of lofty mountains along with the rocky hills, and steep-sided valleys. Walk down the village and stay overnight at the tea house in Dingboche to conclude your day.
Day 08
Lobuche resides at the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. On this day, you will be heading towards Lobuche. The trek could be a little challenging because of the rough and steep trail and the increasing altitude. You will arrive at Duglha from where you will have another steep climb to reach Chuki Lahara.
Thereafter, you will move towards the stupas and eventually pass over the moraines of Khumbu glacier to reach Lobuche. You will step into Lobuche village and rest there for the night.

Day 09
Today, the most adventurous day of the whole trek, you will continue your journey through the flat meadows. As you head northward of the Khumbu Glacier, you will land on Gorak Shep. After an energetic meal, you will head towards Everest Base Camp. gradually walk via Khumbu Glacier, and you will reach Everest Base Camp.
As you step into Everest Base Camp, you will get panoramic views of Mount Khumbuste, Mount Pumori, Mount Nuptse, and Mount Everest. As you explore this place for some time, you will move back to Gorak Shep and stay there for the night.

Day 10
On the tenth day of your trek, you will continue your journey following the well-mantained trail and flat meadows. As you head northward, you will be climbing into the lateral moraine to get to Gorak Shep. As you have your lunch at Gorak Shep, you will head towards Lobuche Base Camp.
You will reach Lobuche Base Camp and have a panoramic view of Mt. Khumbuste, Mt. Pumori, and Mt. Everest. The trail is mostly rough and steep. However, each step is worth the reward, as Lobuche Base Camp will provide clear mountain views above the glacier.

Day 11
Your aim of climbing Lobuche Peak will be achieved today as you start to approach the southern ridge through the ice tracks. You will gradually head up to Lobuche Peak with the help of the equipment and the assistance of your guide. After climbing the end section of this 45-sloping hill, you will eventually reach the summit point of Lobuche East.
After this experience, you will gradually descend down towards the high camp and trek to Pheriche.
Day 12
On the following day, you will gather yourself and head towards Monjo. You will be saying goodbye to the gradually changing landscapes, and then, as you reach Monjo, you will stay overnight at a local teahouse.

Day 13
Today, you will trace your way back to Lukla from Monjo. The trail passes via the riverbanks of Imja Khola and Imja Valley. You will pass through Namche and eventually reach Lukla. In the evening, you can take time to celebrate your achievements and enjoy your ending night around the mountains.

Day 14
This is the final day of this trek. You will head on an early flight from Lukla to Kathmandu after a fulfilling breakfast. Alternatively, you can also fly to Ramechhap. The flight to Kathmandu takes around 40 minutes. As this time passes, you can sneak out of the window and have the final sights of the mountains until your next trip. You will land at Kathmandu Airport and get transferred to the hotel.

Day 15
This is the time to say goodbye to Nepal. Today, get up early to step out into the streets of Kathmandu. You can take this spare time to shop around and also visit the popular sites in Kathmandu. As the half-day passes, you will check in to the hotel and start packing. With a farewell meal, you will be transferred to the airport for your international flight schedule. And finally, you will head back home.

The Lobuche East Trek is considered a strenuous trek because of its high altitude and technical aspects. The summit climb is challenging. Thus, the trekkers are expected to be in good physical condition and have experience trekking at a high altitude.
The best time for you to do the Lobuche East Trek is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is mild and the skies are clear.
You will need a Khumbu National Park permit and a climbing permit for Lobuche East Peak.
The climb to the summit of Lobuche East Peak includes moderate technical terrain, fixed ropes, ladders, and ice slopes. So, one must be comfortable and aware of the basic mountaineering skills and techniques.
