Normally people know about the trekking of Everest base camp but a long time ago for Everest base camp trek started from Lower Solukhambu, Lower solu trekking is a very good mix of cultures. Trip Itinerary

Day 01

As you step into Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by the representatives of Pure Adventure Nepal. Thereafter, the guide will assist you in your transfer to the hotel. After the welcome dinner, you will be called to discuss the trip. You will be spending your night in Kathmandu.

Day 02

Your trip to Everest Base Camp begins on this day. An early morning drive for 8 to 9 hours will lead you to Salleri along the BP highway. On the way, you will be able to see the scenic sight of the SunKoshi River. Salleri is 266 km away from Kathmandu.

If you are considering driving in a private jeep and car, the best spot to stop and glaze the Everest is at Pattale Village. Once you reach Salleri, you will be staying overnight at the hotel.

Day 03

The first day of the trek will begin from Salleri to Taksindu village, which resides at an altitude of 2969 meters. This 5- to 6-hour trek is also often known as the Phalpu-to-Everest Base Camp Trek. As you walk for a few hours, you will reach Ringmu, where you will be having your lunch. From Ringmu, a 2-hour trek downhill will lead you to Taksindu.

Day 04

After a fulfilling breakfast at Taksindu, you will be moving towards Kharikhola along the Tibetan Monasteries. This trek takes about 5 to 6 hours. Once you get on the top, you will be able to catch a glimpse of Lulka and Nunthala villages. Descending will lead you to the Dudhkoshi River. Once you reach Jubing village, a 2-hour trek will lead you to Kharikhola (2250 meters).

Day 05

On the following day, you will have a warm breakfast and descend towards the small stream and cross the bridge to climb up to Bupsa village for 5 to 6 hours. Bupsa Danda is an alluring village at the top of the ridge. At a height above 3000 meters, the air gets frosty in the high Khumbu region. Paiya village is in the middle of a forest. You will be spending your night here. 

Day 06

You will continue to walk through the green bamboo bushes and clear trail for about 2 hours and descend down to Surke. On your way to Phakding, you will explore many exquisite local villages and grassy land. You will reach Surke village, where Pasang Lamu Sherpa (the first Nepalese woman to climb Mount Everest) was born.  The trail follows Chaurikharka, which is also known as the bread basket of the Khumbu area.

You will be able to explore the local schools and monasteries. Once you come across the Dukh Koshi River, you will get to Chhipling and Ghat.  Eventually, you will reach Phakding and rest there for the day. 

Day 07

On this day, you will have to trek for 6 hours to reach the gateway to Everest. You will be crossing a suspension bridge and walking through the trail with a view of the glorious waterfall. You will enter Sagarmatha National Park. Here, you will be asked about permits and identification.

With the gradual ascent through the Khumbu Valley, you will reach Jorsalle for lunch. Once, you cross the other bridges that come across and follow the trail, you will reach Namche Bazar and stay there tonight.

Day 08

This is the rest day for Namche Bazar. Before heading towards Everest Base Camp, you will take a day to adjust to the altitude of Namche Bazart. You can also visit Khumjung Village and get to the Everest View Hotel. This trail will serve you with a view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kangtegha, Thamserku, Kusum Khanguru, Khongd, and Khumbu Yu La (The Mother god of Khumbu people).  You can further explore the Hillary School, Khunde Hospital, and Syangouche Airport.

If you are further curious about the Namche Bazar area, you can visit the Sherpa Museum and the Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee. If you coincidentally reach Namche Bazar on Saturday, you can get to the Saturday markets and get various products. You will be spending your day at a local teahouse at Namche Bazar. 

Day 09

You will be trekking for 5 to 6 hours to reach Tangobche from Namche Bazar. This trail is at an altitude of 3810 meters, which will initially load you onto the Dudh Koshi River with a view of Kenjoma. The trail will join Khumjung and continue to Gokyo. You will descend to a settlement at Sanasa. 

The destination for the day is a wonderful gompa at Tangboche to receive the blessings of the High Lama.  This place offers splendid views of various mountains along with the holy experience of the monastery. You will pause overnight at a teahouse in Tengboche. 

Day 10

Once you have your breakfast at Tanboche, you will be heading along the rhododendron and pine forest. The walk will continue to Imza River, which will lead you to a village named Milinga. As you ascend to Pangboche village through the ancient Chorten, you will have a ravishing view of the mountains.

The trail up the river through Somare, Orsho, and Warsa will lead you to Dingboche. The left trail will head towards Pheriche village. You will reach Dingboche once you get along the Imza valley. 

Day 11

This is the rest day for you to adjust yourself at an altitude of 4410 meters. You might start to experience altitude issues and cold nights. You can take a short hike to Nagarstang Hill to see the view from there. You will spend another day at Dingboche.

Day 12

On this day, you will start to climb to the ridge hill, and you will follow the northwest high to Pheriche village via Chorten. Moving forward will lead you to Lobuche Khola, which drains into the Khumbu glacier. You will ascend to the Duglha Pass (4830 meters), and then the Lobuche Khola will lead you to Lobuche village.

Day 13

This is the most exciting day of the trek as you will be heading towards the Everest Base Camp trek. In the morning, the trek will start from Lobuche and head towards the Khumbu Glacier. The trail continues to Everest Base Camp for 3 to 4 hours. When you reach the mountains of Changri Nup Glacier, you will make small steps on the rocky trails that lead you to the glacial sands of Gorakshep.

Once you get there, you will spend some time taking pictures and enjoying the panorama. After the stunning vistas of Everest, you will head back to Gorakshep to rest your day there. The trekking time takes 3 hours to reach Gorakshep and 5 hours around the Everest Base Camp. You will have an early dinner so that you can get up early for the Kala Pathhar Trek.

Day 14

Kala Pathhar is one of the highest points of Everest Base Camp, which also offers some of the most popular viewpoints and a 360-degree view of the mountains.  After a 2-hour trek to Kala Pathhar, you will take some time enjoying this experience, head back to Gorak Shep, and further retrace yourself to Pheriche via Lobuche. You will be staying at Pheriche for the day.

Day 15

Descending through the Imja Valley, you will pass through the alpine meadows of Pangboche. you will pass the Tangboche and descend down to Phungithanga. Moving across the Dudh Koshi River, you will arrive back at Namche Bazar.

Day 16

You will start as usual and move to the Dush Koshi River. After you enter Jorsale and pass through Monjo, you will see the National Park Entrance Gate and eventually arrive at Phakding.

Day 17

On the following day, begin ascending to Lulka after you have your breakfast in the morning. Before flying back to Kathmandu, you can take time to explore the locals and then say goodbye to the crew. At the end, you will have an ending dinner at Lulka, followed by a dance.

Day 18

You will have an early morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. An approximately 25-minute flight will lead you to Kathmandu. Once you get to Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel you will be free. Here, you can go sightseeing and shopping. You will be staying at a hotel for the night. 

Day 19

This is the day when you will say your final goodbye to your memories in Nepal. You will check out of the hotel and depart for Tribhuwan International Airport. You will have a last Namaste from Kathmandu.
