For hiking in the Nagarjuna hill, one needs to pay the applicable entry fee of Nagarjun National Park. i.e. Nepali rupees 100 per person for Nepali, 600 per person for SAARC nationals, and Nrs 1000 for other foreign nationals.

If you want to reach Jama Cho and hike the Nagarjuna trail, it is about 5 km long. It takes about 4 to 5 hours of walking to explore the wilderness in Nagarjuna Hiking. 

 

Nagarjuna Hiking is a moderately challenging and difficult route, while it is one of the nearest hikes to Kathmandu. One with a reasonable fitness level can conquer Nagarjuna Hiking with ease.
