Day 01
Today marks the day of arrival, 1st day of the itinerary. Pure Adventure team will pick you up at the airport and ensure you are transferred to a comfortable hotel. After some rest, you will be called for a welcome dinner. During this, we will discuss further plans for the trip.

On Day 2, our first destination is Syabrubesi. It takes about 5 to 6 hours to reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu, covering 112km via Tokha road. The road is paved, windy, and very scenic drive which reconnects you with the serenity of nature.

With early morning breakfast, we prepare to trek to Goljung which is an eco-cultural trek. The Gatlang village at an altitude of 2238m offers you panoramic views of Langtang Himal, and Ganesh Himal, and feel revitalized.

Today’s adventure begins as you trek to Gogang and thereafter set off on the trail to Tatopani. Make sure to visit the natural hot springs in Nepal, Tatopani. Reaching George and crossing over the Langtang River can be a challenging phase. Colorful pheasants and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains excite you all through the journey.

As you ascend to the enchanting village of Thuman (2338m), a refreshing trek, will treat you to a vibrant village. Unique Tamang traditions and cultural performance is a plus point, explore them, and get motivated for your destination.

The trek from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa is about 6 km long, with an elevation gain of 700 m. If you take a steady pace after breakfast, it takes about 3 to 4 hours. Croissant glacial moraine, terrace fields, diverse flora, and fauna, you will reach the Kyanjin Gompa.

Today is a rest day, where you will explore Kyanjin Gompa and hike to nearby viewpoints. Fresh mountain air, and the peaceful spiritual solace of Kyanjin Gompa, all of are rejuvenating. The hike to Langtang Lirung Glacier can be challenging through rocky paths and strenuous climbs, and the trail gets narrower and steeper. After 3 to 4 hours of hiking, you can intertwine yourself in the beautiful Himalayan setting.

Descending from Langtang Lirung Glacier through high-altitude meadows to Lama Hotel, you hike for 5 to 6 hours, for about 10 km distance. The steep descent offers stunning photography locations, bringing great joy to life.

The time has arrived when you wrap up the views of the Langtang region, explore the Tamang heritage in the enchanting Langtang villages, understand the unique traditions, of the natives, and return with heartfelt memories towards Thulo Shyabru.

Early morning after breakfast, you will leave for Dhunche, by trekking your way, if lucky you can also catch a bus on the path, and take it. But exploring the path, on your own can give you experience to a raw level, that often shapes your emotions and comforts you with the feeling of satisfaction. By passing through a rustic straight path, and hiking for 1 to 2 hours you reach Dhunche. Have lunch, and now, take a scenic drive to Nuwakot, where you will rest for the day.

After observing local life in the Langtang region, and exploring the souvenirs of Nuwakot and Rasuwa, you return to Kathmandu, which is approximately 2 to 3 hours drive. Savor bitter-sweet memories, share laughter, and enjoy local meals, return with happy vibes.

Tamang Heritage Langtang trek introduces you to local insights and the unique traditions of native Tamang people residing in the Langtang region. The Tamang Heritage Trail allows you exquisite views of mighty mountains like Langtang Lirung, (7,234 m) and Ganesh Himal (7,429 m).
Langtang trek is beginner-friendly and even worth it, and can also be done with a reasonable fitness level. Even, having a guide is optional in this region. Need not worry about permits, you can get them at check-posts, and safely conquer the Langtang region, in groups.
The most popular route for Langtang is the Syabrubesi route, while, you can also choose to trek from the Sundarijal route and enjoy the wilderness, Tamang culture, and tranquil environment from Kathmandu.
Some of the teahouses in Langtang region provides free wifi services in the Langtang region., But when you are climbing steep regions, issues with a network may be seen. So, be prepared for all the situations, in normal scenarios Wi-Fi, Network, and electricity services are easily available.
Langtang National Park permit and a TIMS card are required for ascending the challenging trail of Langtang region. One can obtain this easily online and also at the Nepal Tourism Board office.
