Chitwan National Park provides an unforgettable adventure into the wild, via jungle jeep safari and elephant back safari. Also, it can be a nature paradise to encounter over 540 avian species, like Colorful parakeets, and Rufous-throated Partridge for birdwatching enthusiasts.

 

As you stroll through the UNESCO listed world heritage site like Chitwan National Park, the amazing destination also encompasses, the Ramsar Site, Beeshazari Taal, within its buffer zone. Since its inception in 1973 AD, the area has been home to over 544 species of reptiles (herpetofauna), 111 species of fish, and diverse aquatic life.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01

On the first day, you drive to Chitwan after having a delightful breakfast. As you sign up for the exhilarating journey following the Trishuli River, you will be led toward Chitwan. You can also encounter people performing white water rafting on rivers with energetic water currents. The thrill of reaching Chitwan is to tour around the National Park and perform jungle activities. 

Nature walk, canoeing, ox cart ride, village tours, and jungle safari by elephant or jeep is organized. You get to immerse yourself in a cultural show, accompanied by traditional music and dresses of the Tharu community. Your day will end at the Jungle cottage or Hotel, based on what you prefer.

Day 02

Waking up in the unique cultural and natural allure of Chitwan National Park feels like stepping into a vibrant world. The day opens up with a symphony of culture, wilderness, and rich traditions. The rich cultural discoveries offered in village visit through ox carter ride is exciting. Our resident naturalist will help you have scenic travel through the wildlife, flora, and fauna.

Day 03

Once you explore the wildlife and rich biodiversity of Chitwan, you will now drive back to Kathmandu. Canoeing, visit to elephant breeding center. And jungle safari will be something memorable throughout the rise. After breakfast, you will return to Kathmandu, via the bank of Trishuli River. Your lunch will be arranged on the way.

Day 04

Frequently asked questions

Wearing dark green colored clothes during the Chitwan Jungle Safari is suggested. Also, going with dark blue, brown, or black colors can go fine. To ensure safety, please avoid any perfumes, or deodorants, and do not wear light and bright-colored clothes inside the jungle. 

 

During your stay in Chitwan, you will be accommodated in comfortable lodges/hotels/resorts with A/C rooms, attached bathrooms, and even insect nets. The safety and hygienic standards will be maintained while ensuring your comfort. 

 

You can add style to your boring safari clothes. Trying dark-colored hair scarves, putting on simple and earthy-colored clothes, and being comfortable in your attire can never go out of style. But beware of the consequences that strong fragrance can bring on safari. 


 

A Chitwan Jungle Safari ticket costs Rs 150 for Nepali tourists. The entry permit fee for Chitwan National Park is Rs 1000 for SAARC member countries tourists and Rs 2000 per person for other foreigners.

Many national and international tourists come for Rhinoceros, tigers, and even birdwatching of rare species on the Chitwan safari.
