We went tour of Nepal in November with Bhim, had a lovely & interesting tour around Nepal. Knowledgeable guides, good accomodation, interesting tour around Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Chitwan with good drivers. I would travel with these guys again.

We booked a trip to mount everest base camp with Pure Adventure Nepal. We had such a great time and everhyting went as expected and promised!!
To start we received good information in advance what to expect and what to prepare for the trip. The moment we arrived in Kathmandu we were picked up and were welcomed directly. Everything was well organised and also our guides took good care of us during the whole trip and during walking. Both the guides were such nice people. Thank you for this great expirience. We would love to come back for another trip one day!

We (5 ladies from Holland) booked the Three Passes Trek with Pure Adventure Nepal. For soms of us it was the second visit, and by far the best. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu untill we had to say goodbye again, everything was well taken care of. No need for another travel agency as these guys will help you with everything quickly and professionally.
Even though quite some people we met on the way were without a guide, I would strongly advise to get one. And when you book, book with Pure Adventure. The trek is not easy, as is trekking in the Himalaya in general (high altitudes and unpredictable weather conditions). You're going to be thankful for an experienced guide that knows what he's doing, and keeps the vibes positive. Our guide Bhim was a top-professional, naturally helping us out with logistics (get through the airport quick&easy), finding the best places to stay and eat, and showing us the way up steep mountain passes, through snow, all the while keeping safety, health and fun as top priorities. Most of all, having him with us added to the experience by learning more about the villages we passed, the people we met, their ways, religions, language, stories and culture, the animals and plants we saw, all the great mountaintops with their own stories, and most importantly which way to turn the prayer-wheels for good luck :)
My tip for the trek is: be prepared to suffer, get a good guide (at Pure Adventure) and then have yourself amazed by the gorgeous Himalayas and have the experience of a lifetime.

After an excellent trek with Pure Adventure in 2016, we came back for a trek in November 2018 with my family (including three children, 13, 11 and 7). We were a little concerned about whether the kids would be up for the physical challenge of a trek and the general experience of traveling in Nepal but it was one of the best holidays we've ever had. Surya helped us with an itinerary which involved a four day trek at Poon Hill, a two day rafting trip on the Trisuli river and an overnight at Bandipur. The Pure team could not have done anything more to ensure that we had a great experience. In Megh and Nuson, we had two incredibly patient and gentle guides who were happy to go at whatever pace we needed, and were always ready with a joke or a snack when needed. They were also always willing to adjust the itinerary where there was something else we wanted to do. All the transfers were with safe and friendly drivers and we couldn't have felt in better hands.
Our experience:
a) Rafting in Trisuli - this was a two day trip and was very safe (they had canoeists on either side of the raft and so I was quickly picked up one time I popped off the side). The camp site was in a great location, clean and the food was good.
b) Bandipur - an interesting hill town with a well preserved central street. We booked late so weren't able to stay in the inn in the centre of the town (which looks the nicest location), but really enjoyed exploring the town and the environs and there is a short walk up to the top of the hill with great views.
c) Poon Hill - we did a four day trek which was doable for the youngest but was hard enough to be a good challenge. The tea houses were simple (some very basic), but food was always okay and the staff were lovely. The routes were very crowded and so it certainly wasn't a remote/spiritual experience, but everyone was friendly and it was a fun experience for the whole family.
d) Pokhara - after the trek we spent a day in Pokhara before flying back to Kathmandu (we couldn't face an 8 hour drive). Pokhara was very pretty, a lovely experience.
e) Kathmandu - we had a day and a half in KM and was brilliant to explore.
Surya and his team do a great job and we will definitely use them for our next trip to Nepal -- the kids are already excited about exploring some new parts of Nepal.

I recently completed the Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar trek with Suman and it was totally awesome. I arranged the whole trip via email with Bhim and upon arrival in Kathmandu, I was picked up from the airport by my guide Suman. The whole trip went off without a hitch and Suman was always checking to ensure I was in good shape and not suffering any symptoms of altitude sickness. He even helped me pick up a few items of gear before setting off and when we got back to Kathmandu, took me to Everest Momo for the best momo in town!
From my conversations with all of the guides I met on the trip I'd highly recommend going on this trip in colder months as apparently the trail and tea houses are absolutely jam packed during the peak months. For me this would detract from the whole experience if it was just too many people. Also, the last thing you want is to have to queue or wait your turn to eat or use the toilets at the tea houses after a long day trekking.
It is a lot colder (-25 degrees at night) but the weather is sunny and clear skies in the day and a significantly less chance of rain.
Thanks Bhim and Suman for an unforgettable experience!

Once again, Bhim and his team deliver the perfect trek. 2 of us used Pure Adventure Nepal for a trek to Tengboche. We were appointed Suman as a guide and could not fault him for the duration of the trip. He was attentive, knowledgeable and had our safety at the heart of his concern. All the stops were perfectly planned to fit in with energy and capability levels. The routes were perfectly chosen to ensure maximum enjoyment and we were rewarded with great views of Everest. I would urge anyone considering a Nepal trek to contact pure adventure Nepal . Remove the unnecessary link of a travel agent and I’m sure you’ll have the trip of a lifetime. I fully intend to return to Nepal and there is only one person I will consider calling to make sure everything is just as I want it.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking Experience
My two friends and I did this tour together and we all really had a fantastic time. Our guide, Bhim, was a real joy over the course of the trek and very knowledgeable about all aspects of our trip. We also had two porters who were full of laughs and always looking out for us. The views and terrain were just amazing and although the trek could be challenging times, I believe anyone with an average level of fitness could easily complete. We trekked right before a holiday and thus we passed many shepherds herding goats down for the occasion - it was really a neat and unique experience. Every teahouse/guesthouse we stayed at surpassed our exceptions and were overall very clean and comfortable, but of course facilities are basic. Food was also good, especially delicious after those primarily uphill hiking days!
Pure Adventure Nepal also made arranging this tour very easy. Our contact, Sunny, was extremely responsive and helpful to us throughout our planning process and was able to customise our itinerary based on our groups needs. Prices are very reasonable too, especially if you want to use a trusted tour company in Nepal. Overall, I would highly recommend booking your trek with Pure. When we go back one day and do a longer trek, we will definitely be booking with them again.

My friends and I had an awesome time on our Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. We had a great time taking in the views, local culture, and facing a new challenge each day! Our guide, Dakman, and two porters were very knowledgable about the mountains and villages we passed through. They all had a great sense of humor, as well, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good trek and all of our needs were met! Sunny also made it super easy to organize the trek and even saw us off and wished us well the morning we left Kathmandu to head towards the Annapurna region. I highly recommend this trek if you're interested in exploring this side of the Himalayas, up to see some incredible views, are in average physical condition, and want to gain insights on life outside of Nepal's big cities. You won't be disappointed! Thanks to the Pure Adventure Nepal team for an incredible experience!

Upper Mustang and Tiji Festival
I have previously trekked in Nepal with Intrepid but to visit the Tiji Festival in Upper Mustang it was necessary to book directly with a Nepalese Company and from recommendation I chose Pure Adventure Nepal. From the first meeting with company owner Bhim bhadur Tamang, his Trekking Group Leader Dakman and porter Nosen in Kathmandu and throughout the trek and associated transport arrangements the entire trip was professionally run with accommodation and food of a high standard. With just two trekkers on the trip it was a different experience to before - visiting more 'local' restaurants in Kathmandu and places of entertainment than would have been possible with a larger group, but for me this was a benefit. Another advantage of the small group size was walking at ones own pace without feeling any pressure to keep up with the main group. I would have no hesitation in travelling with Pure Adventure Nepal again.

Island peak summit and everest marathon
I had the time of my life on my second adventure to nepal. The mountains are a home away from home. With the professionalism by the team at pure adventure, you can be at ease with basically everything you need. They go to the next level to ensure you enjoy your trip by all means. Most caring friendly team around. Highly recommended. Thanks again sunny, kush and the team.

Jiri Pikey Peak & Dhading school project
Nepal is one of my favourite places on Earth and has so much to offer that you could spend a lifetime there and still not have seen it all!
Having just gotten back from this incredible, rural and remote Jiri Pikey Peak trek I can only say it's a story worth discovering! Quiet, little rough and isolated, perfect for those daring trekkers who love to get off the beaten track and connect with nature and people. You will be truly touched by the warmth and depth of the welcome of local people and richness of their culture. Finally, the trek triumphs with the most beautiful panoramic view of all the great 8000m+ peaks, unforgettable memory.
The Dhading school project, organized by Pureadventure Nepal to provide and promote vital help in the recovery following the April earthquake proved to be an incredible lesson on humanity and humility. I feel truly honoured to have been able to be a part of this remarkable experience that turned out to be a joint effort of villagers, volunteers, school pupils and teachers.
Last but not least, our invaluable guide, and long time friend Surya. His attentiveness, knowledge and undeniable patience makes him a dependable, trustworthy and reliable guide. Funny, open minded and quick to smile gains respect among both, travellers and porters. And his unbreakable commitment to people and his own country is admirable.
I would recommend Pureadventure Nepal to anyone who yearns for an adventure that leaves no box unticked!
Thank you and hope to see you soon!

November 2015, only just got back after an absolutely amazing trip, I travelled with a few friends whom I had met on a previous trip to Nepal (Everest Base camp) we wanted to show our support after the Earthquake... and as Bhim is now working for himself, and by far the best guide I have ever had.. it was the perfect combination.
We did a weeks hiking the Pikey Peak trail which is the old route to Everest Base camp, all thou we did not go that far.. you get the most amazing views at Pikey Peak, of all the great 8000m+ peaks. The trail is a lot quieter than the Everest and Annapurna routes, which is a massive plus point.
The second week we helped paint a school in Dhading, not only was it amazing to spend time at the school and interact, it was so nice to stay in the heart of a village community. I would highly recommend this trip... and if you do Pure Adventure is the company to use, make sure you get in touch with Bhim Tamang .
Please support the Nepalese they need it so if you fancy the most amazing trip ever I would suggest this

Annapurna circuit with pure adventure nepal
We did this holiday after friends of us also did this trip. They recommended the pure adventure nepal agency as they had a good experience with this agency. And they met all our expectations and more.
When we arrived they helped us prepare the trip. They took the time to explain to us what to expect during the trekking. We still needed some material and the guide helped us getting good material at a good price.
We only took a guide as we would be carrying our backpacks ourselves. Our guide was Basu and to say the least, he was awesome!!! He arranged all places to sleep and eat. He told us a lot about the culture and people of Nepal and knew the area very well.
The trip itself was magnificent. Everyday was an adventure and we are happy it was with pure adventure nepal!

Langtang, Gosainkunda and Helambu 15 day trek
My husband and I cannot fault the service provided by our guide, Chandra, and our porter Nussan, from Pure Adventure Nepal. We have recently returned to our home country, the UK, after spending 15 memorable days on trek with them in the Langtang Gosainkunda region. Our guide was very attentive, flexible and conscientious, always putting our needs first. He was happy for us to plan our own route, advising us when we asked him. We never felt dictated to or controlled. Trekking with two young children, ages 20 months and 4.5 years, meant the trek was more challenging for us all, but Chandra and Nussan looked after our children like they were their own. We felt completely safe in their company, even at 4,700m, at the height of the trek, on Tsergo Ri Peak!
We were very satisfied with the trek, the route, the service, in short the whole experience. The cost of the trek was also good value for money, a very reasonable price (after shopping around this was one of the cheaper options). We achieved our dream of trekking in the Himalaya with our whole family, in part thanks to Pure Adventure Nepal. Many trekking companies were not keen on arranging a trek for us with two young children, bit Pure Adventure Nepal were happy to accommodate and welcome our children, trusting that we knew our family's capabilities. Our children grew really fond of Chandra and Nussan; we were all very sad when the trek came to an end.
I would thoroughly recommend Pure Adventure Nepal to anyone who is planning on trekking in Nepal. They will listen and respond to your needs, are flexible, open and accommodating. Thank you Pure Adventure Nepal for the service and the many memories you gave all of our family. We did indeed have a pure adventure with you, a trip of a lifetime for us all.
